Established in 1948 in Western Australia, Arcus Australia remains a family owned and operated company and we have been supplying cafes, restaurants, taverns, hotels, delis, butchers, supermarkets, hospital, health care facilities and mining camps with refrigeration products and services for 70 years.
Initially producing refrigeration, air conditioning and heating products for the WA domestic market we are now highly regarded for the design, manufacture and installation of Commercial Refrigeration, Custom Stainless Steel and Food Service products.

Arcus was founded by Don Arcus, our current owners father in 1948
Why did Arcus stop making domestic refrigeration?
Unfortunately with the influx of cheaper overseas imports, it ended up being impossible to remain competitive in the domestic refrigeration market.
Why do Arcus still manufacture in WA?
Two reasons really, we still believe the best products are the ones designed and manufactured locally for the conditions our customers face here in WA and a sense of pride, we started as a manufacturing business and will continue to manufacture for as long as we can.
Who are the people looking at the fridge?
The gentleman in the hat is Jack Arcus, Dons father and the grandfather of the current GM and MD of Arcus Australia. He is showing a customer a domestic fridge in what was the Arcus showroom / factory back in the 60’s.
Our office, factory and showroom is located 6 kilometers north of Perth in a custom built facility in Malaga.
